Madrid Save the Date in CDMX

Madrid Destino presented in Mexico City on March 27 the guide "Madrid Save the Date 2019" in a replica of the event that was held in mid-December.

 

Mexico is undoubtedly a strategic market for tourism in Madrid and this event turned out to be a very good promotion opportunity for Madrid.

 

The guide "Madrid Save the Date 2019" is initially a publication that collects and details a hundred events that will take place in the city diuring 2019, including exhibitions, performances, concerts, sports and city events, congresses other activities. 100 reasons to visit Madrid. Some already consolidated. Others, punctual ones, like the bicentennial anniversary of Prado Museum or the Final of the UEFA Champions League. The guide can be found and downloaded here:

 

Tour Operators and Mexican Travel Agents, CDMX authorities and the media were summoned to the event. There was a flamenco performance by Corral de la Moreria, recently awarded with a Michelin star. After the event, a small cocktail was held.

Luis Cueto, General Coordinator of Madrid City Council, acted as master of ceremonies of the event in CDMX, and Miguel Sanz, Director of Tourism of Madrid Destination, among others, attended the event.

 

This event coincided with others in Mexico City, including the presentation of the film "The Best Day of my Life" and the renewal of the signing of the collaboration agreement between the cities of Mexico and Madrid.
