SATTE India Travel Show

SATTE India Travel Show will take place from January 31 till February 2, 2018 in the city of New Delhi, India. The 2017 edition had a total attendance record of 22,000 visitors and 840 exhibitors from 40 countries and 28 states in India, growing 10% since the previous edition.

In 2016 IFA Bollywood awards were held in Madrid, a milestone in the promotion of Madrid in the Indian market due to the high impact that an event like this has in a country with 1.2 billion inhabitants. It is estimated that the gala was followed by 800 million viewers and that the event left in Madrid 15 million euros and more than 10,000 hotel reservations.

As a colophon Air India, from December 1, 2016, began to operate a nonstop direct flight between New Delhi and Madrid with 3 weekly frequencies, which it hopes to expand in the medium term. After several arduous negotiations Madrid has managed to attract the interest of the main Indian airline to connect the capitals of both countries in what will be, hopefully, the perfect trigger for Indian tourism to Madrid to position itself as one of the top destinations and make India a more strategic market if it fits for our city.
