FITUR 2018

The International Fair of Tourism FITUR is considered to be one of the most important international events in tourist matter. FITUR is the global meeting point for the professionals of tourism and the fair leader for receptive and issuing markets of Latin America.
In the last edition (year 2017) there were 9. 893 companies and other exhibitors of different countries for tourism (wholesale agencies, travel agencies, operators of free time and culture tourism, official organisms, professional associations)from 167 countries. Near 7542 journalists and bloggers proceeding for 200 countries became famous during the Fair, about 135.838 professional and 109.134 visitors
It is necessary to emphasize the growth of 18,8 % international professional and visitors with regard to the previous edition. Therefore it demonstrate the FITUR importance in the international fairs circuit of the tourist sector.
From 2013 on, the Town hall of Madrid across the public company Madrid Destino and the Community of Madrid, took part in this fair, and that's why, in this edition and motivated by the good experience during the previous editions of 2013 - 2017 of the International Fair of Tourism (FITUR), the same collaboration between Town Hall and the Community of Madrid gathered together to design and project the execution of the stand for FITUR 2018 that will take place from January 17 until January 21.
