Descripción:
The Bodega de La Ardosa, located in the Malasaña neighbourhood, is a hundred year old tavern that first opened its doors at the end of the 19th century, when businessman Rafael Fernández decided to open a chain of bodegas to sell the wine he produced in his vineyards in the wine-making region known as “La Ardosa”. Nowadays, only four bars are still open, but at one time there were as many as 30 establishments. Another change is that it is now more focused on beer rather than wine. It still preserves elements of its original decoration and it also boasts the oldest Guinness tap and a certificate recognising it as the best bar to have a Pilsen in Spain.
