Fachada principal de la Casa Árabe
The Madrid headquarters of Casa Árabe is situated in a Neo-Mudéjar building erected in 1886 on Calle de Alcalá. Found next to the northern entrance to El Retiro Park, in the late 19th century the building housed the former Aguirre Schools. Today, Casa Árabe hosts exhibitions, conferences and courses related to Arab and Spanish culture. The aim is to strengthen and foster a diverse and robust connection with Arab and Muslim countries.
