The façade of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
Real Madrid is one of our city’s three professional football teams, alongside Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (named after the legendary Real Madrid coach who managed the club from 1943 to 1978) was inaugurated in 1947 and now has a capacity of over 80,000 spectators. It also features 200 VIP boxes and can host other types of events, including concerts by both national and international artists.
