Officially opened in 1933 on Paseo de Recoletos and moved in 1967 to El Retiro Park, the Madrid Book Fair has more than three hundred exhibitors from publishers and book stores. The Fair is opened by a member of the Royal Family and visitors can get special discounts as well as autographs from well-known writers.
