Finca de Vista Alegre

In the heart of the Vista Alegre neighbourhood, in Carabanchel, lies this monumental and landscaped ensemble of significant value. Designated as a Historic Garden in Madrid’s Urban Development General Plan in 1997 and declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 2018, it ranks as the city's fourth largest historic garden, following Casa de Campo, El Retiro and Oeste parks. Within its grounds stands an impressive cedar, listed in the Regional Catalogue of the Community of Madrid as a "unique tree" due to both its extraordinary size and age.
