The Museum of Popular Art and Traditions, which belongs to the Autonomous University of Madrid, is in the neighbourhood of La Latina and opened in 1975. It currently harbours 7000 pieces from all over Spain, including objects from everyday life that provide insight into what the people that created and used them were like.
