Sculpture of Glory and the Pegasus on top of the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture
Palacio de Fomento (“Public Works Palace”) is a 19th century classical Renaissance-style building located at no. 1 in Paseo de Infanta Isabel. It was originally designed to be the seat of the Ministry of Public Works, but went on to house various public institutions. It is currently the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. In 1989 it was declared a Property of Cultural Interest in the Monuments category, and it has offered guided tours since 2014.
