Horseshoe arches on the façade of Las Ventas Bullring
Las Ventas Bullring was built in 1931 and has the distinction of being Spain’s biggest bullring and the third-largest in terms of capacity in the world, after the México Bullring and the Valencia Bullring (in Venezuela). Featuring a Neo-Mudéjar architectural style, it can hold 23,798 spectators and its ring has a diameter of 60 metres. In 1994 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the category of Historic and Artistic Monuments.
