Plaque on the front of the building commemorating the location of the old printing workshop
The Cervantes Society, created in 1953, is a cultural organisation that promotes knowledge about the life and work of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and also raises awareness of Castilian language and literature. It's in the Literary Quarter and occupies the building that once housed the printing workshop owned by Juan de la Cuesta, where the first edition of Don Quixote was printed.
