The square of Plaza de la Villa, in the historic city centre, is one of the best preserved group of monuments dating back to medieval Madrid. It's also where you'll find three little streets dating back to the original city layout: Calle del Codo, Calle del Cordón and Calle de Madrid. Around the square are the main façades of three building with great historic and cultural value: Casa y Torre de los Lujanes (15th century), Casa de Cisneros (16th century) and Casa de la Villa (17th century).
