Daoíz y Velarde Cultural Centre

This space is housed in an old industrial building that had fallen into disuse for quite some time and was part of the former Daoíz y Velarde barracks. This cultural centre in the Retiro district hosts all sorts of cultural and social activities. Refurbished in 2015, it has an area of 6,800 square metres and boasts two theatre halls, one in the Italian style and another with a changeable t-shaped layout, as well as several multipurpose spaces, common areas and storage facilities.
