The bustling, centrally located Puerta del Sol square is one of Madrid's most iconic spots. Its semi-circular area is where several of the city's most historic and busiest streets converge (including Calle Mayor, Calle Arenal, Calle Alcalá and Calle Preciados) and it's also home to some of the most famous city sights, like the Casa de Correos clock, the Kilometre Zero plaque, the statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree and the Mariblanca statue.
