Madrid: new destination for Airbus business

The business accelerator of Airbus BizLab adds to its global business network a headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

The aerospace company Airbus, through its global accelerator Airbus BizLab, confirmed the opening of a new headquarters of its global network in Madrid, Spain. The new business center will be located in Spaces Río, in the heart of the Spanish capital.

Airbus BizLab is a global aerospace accelerator, where startups and internal entrepreneurs of the firm accelerate the transformation of innovative ideas into actions capable of generating value.

The six-month program carried out by BizLab is part of Airbus' innovative strategy that brings together a community of more than 2,000 B2B startups from India, Southeast Asia and Israel. Through it the company gives access to a large number of coaches, experts and mentors in various areas that help streamline projects.

Madrid's entrepreneurial system prepares to fly

According to the Spaces manager in Spain, Philippe Jiménez, the Airbus initiative is a very valuable boost for the community of members of Spaces Rio, which is focused on entrepreneurs and companies with a high innovative spirit.
