Plaza Mayor Tourist Information Centre

In the Salón de Columnas room of Casa de la Panadería, located in Plaza Mayor square, Madrid boasts one of the most modern tourist information centres in the country. Open 365 days a year,  the friendly staff can offer helpful advice, in most languages, on how to make the most of your stay in the city. The Plaza Mayor Tourist Information Centre and the city’s five tourist information kiosks (Plaza de Callao, Royal Palace, Reina Sofía, Paseo del Prado and Bernabéu) were awarded the Safe Tourism Certified Seal (UNE 0066-10 de Mayo 2020). Madrid is the first major city whose tourist information centres have received this seal which is given by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE).
