The Prado Museum, opened in 1819 and located on the Art Walk, is one of the world's leading art galleries with works by Velázquez, Goya, El Greco, Titian, Rubens and Hieronymus Bosch. It also houses a valuable collection of 8,600 paintings and more than 700 sculptures.
